As registered Exercise Physiologists with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), ProActive Rehabilitation and Health aims to provide physical well being services to those with severe and permanent disabilities.
It is very important to know that funding for Exercise Physiology through the NDIS can only be accessed under Improved Health and Well Being.
When you choose to access services with ProActive Rehabilitation and Health we provide comprehensive and specialised exercise regime, tailored to the specific needs of the individual. ProActive Rehabilitation and Health aims to enable participants to participate more in the community and to achieve their personal goals.
Exercise Physiology services can be utilised to improve function through muscles that have become inactive or weakened as a result of clients disability.
Our studio is wheel chair accessible and has equipment that can be altered to accommodate all conditions and aid in the development of motor control, isolated muscle strength, neuromuscular re-patterning and the development of strength and stability.
The conditions that will benefit from an Exercise Program with ProActive Rehabilitation and Health’s Exercise Physiologists are:
- Muscular dystrophy
- Cerebral Palsy

- Brain injuries
If you would like to participate in an Exercise Based Rehabilitation Program to improve your function and increase your physical conditioning then please register with the NDIS and talk to a planner, but ensure that funding is received under the Improved Health and Well Being section of your funding allocation.
