The Pilates Method is a unique system of strengthening and stretching exercises developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900's utilising specialised equipment and mat exercises.

The Pilates Method is without peer when it comes to rehabilitation for any form of injury, as well as increasing fitness, improving posture and sporting performance.

ProActive Rehabilitation and Health can provide personalised or small group Pilates training at home or in the workplace, and also run a mat classes each week at Genetics Fitness Club Warners Bay at 11am each Monday.

Private studio sessions can be completed at Lifestyle Pilates and Rehabilitation Studio under the Enhanced Primary Care Plan or to private clients. These sessions develop an excellent understanding of the Pilates method.

Pilates can benefit the injured as well as the healthy and is an all over body conditioning program without the impact and need for heavy machinery but with all the same benefits and results. Classes can be provided as a form of exercise and prevention through increased stability.
